Okay, so, here's the situation. This room is really, really cold, okay? And the switch that opens the door out of here is on this metal pole, right? And for some reason I can't quite explain, you have to activate the switch with your tongue. You see where I'm going with this?

• Without cold resistance:

Well, it all goes down pretty much as you expected. Your tongue freezes to the pole, and you end up having to chisel it free. Most of it, anyway.

You lose some hit points. (cold damage)

You move deeper into the dungeon.

• With cold resistance:

Your magical protection against cold keeps you safe as you tongue the pole... hey! Stop that sniggering! Anyway, you make it out of the room.

You move deeper into the dungeon.
