My main is RoyalTonberry,
I also have DiablosMinion13 who has Transcendental Olfaction,

I've been doing a lot of work on Advanced Farming math as well as On The Trail math.

Contents

[edit] Advanced Farming

gearing up for a huge revamp of the Advanced Farming page.
so, given On The Trail's uncanny ability to make certain monsters appear a whole lot more than normal, what are some good areas, perhaps better than the castle?

The Castle (trailing Goth Giants for certificates)
The Icy Peak (trailing Knott Yetis for meat drops)
The Goatlet (trailing Dairy Goats for goat's milk)
Outskirts of Camp Logging Camp (trailing Axe Handles for pine tar)
The Upper Chamber (trailing Tomb Rats for ratchets)
Cobb's Knob Menagerie level 1 (trailing Fruit Golems for limes)
Cobb's Knob Laboratory (trailing Very Mad Scientists for reagents)

more to come as I get more On The Trail data.

[edit] DoD potions

I can never remember these bloody things, though you'd think I'd be able to, 40 some-odd ascensions and all.

Combat message potion type
smells like a wino drunk
like he feels better healing
confused confusion
blinks object detection
yawns sleepy
stronger ten ettins
smarter strange mental acuity
stylish izchak's blessing
disappear / reappear teleportitis

[edit] Icy Peak data

Trailing Yetis in the Icy Peak with supposedly +15% combats on a level 32 Disco Bandit.
should have 0% non-combats. Apparently something's wonky. More on this later.
Theories:
1. It's been proposed that Disco Bandits have an innate -% combats
2. Monster Bait, Carlweather's Cantata, or Hippy Stench might not be working like we think.
3. Icy Peak may not have 85% noncombats.. I'll be spading this later.

removing non-combats from the calculations, focusing on only trailing..

and then with +0% combats with a level 25 pastamancer, will continue to update until 1000 adventures, and yes, I actually did get that UR adventure in the spading process.

[edit] Castle data

it looks like you can expect:
18% non-combats at +0% combat frequency
11.5% non-combats at +10% combat frequency
5.5% non-combats at +15% combat frequency
