You go back to the tree where the wounded Knob Goblin guard was resting, and find him just where you left him, continuing to whine about his stubbed toe.

"Here you go, tough guy" you say, and hand him the unguent.

"You're... you're a lifesaver," he says, reaching into his pocket. "Take this as a... as a thank you. Maybe it will work better for you then it did for me."
