Tomb bat

 You're fighting a tomb batHave you ever seen a mummified bat? No? Well, then you've never seen one of these. It's from a flock of bats that's been living in this pyramid for a long time. So long, in fact, that they've learned to imitate the other creatures here by mummifying each other. They've missed the point a little bit, in that they perform the mummification before the subject shuffles off its furry, black little mortal coil, but the overall effect still earns them a lot of points, if for no other reason than the extreme creepiness.
Long story short -- you're being attacked by a big mummy bat.

It buffets you with its leathery wings. Your <thigh> gets buffeted against your <thigh>, which hurts a lot. Argh! Ugh! Ooh! Eek! Eek!
It scratches your <thigh> with a dusty claw. Let's hope you don't get bat scratch fever. Ooh! Ouch! Oof! Ouch! Ouch!

It lets loose a piercing squeak, like Mariah Carey stepping on a dolphin. It reverberates and echoes through the tomb until your eyes pop out and your ears bleed. Ouch! Ooh! Ouch! Argh! Oof! Ouch!

As it swoops toward you, a loose bit of bandage gets caught on a nearby urn, and as it unravels, the bat falls out of the air in a whirling, dusty mess.
