This is little glob of black plastic on a little black plastic pedestal. It could be anything, really, you're just taking the manufacturer's word for it that it's a chunk of depleted Grimacite. It could be a lump of coal, or an old rotten peach, or a really big raisin, or an excised tumor, or a micrometeorite, or... really anything roundish and black.
The bottom of the base reads "Series 2C, 5/5 (U)"
