The Sorceress' Sabre-Toothed Lime

If this is the first of her familiars you face:

Still out of sight, the sorceress cackles madly.

"Kill the adventurer, my pet!" she shrieks.

If you have equipped a Levitating Potato weighing at least 20 lbs:

A giant sabre-toothed lime hovers down the corridor toward you, with malice in its... er... grin.

<Familiar Name> circles the lime warily, but the lime can't seem to get a scent. <Familiar Name> wraps its vines around the lime and shuts its fruity jaws once and for all. The lime falls to the ground, lifeless. Er, even more lifeless than limes usually are.

You move further into the tower, while huge chunks of stone fall from the walls for no good reason.

If you have equipped a Levitating Potato weighing less than 20 lbs:

A giant sabre-toothed lime hovers down the corridor toward you, with malice in its... er... grin.

<Familiar Name> circles the lime warily, but the lime can't seem to get a scent. <Familiar Name> wraps its vines around the lime, but the lime tears free with a mighty snap of its jaws. Man, now there's spud-juice all over the floor.

Disappointed by your failure, you stomp off in a huff, and stub your toe. Really hard.

You lose 50 hit points.

If you do not have a Levitating Potato equipped:

A giant sabre-toothed lime hovers down the corridor toward you, with malice in its... er... grin.

<Familiar Name> pummels the lime as hard as it can pummel, but the lime smells blood and snaps it in two with its teeth. If only your familiar had something to wrap around the lime and close those fearsome, citrusy jaws...

Disappointed by your failure, you stomp off in a huff, and stub your toe. Really hard.

You lose 50 hit points.

• If you are damaged to 0 HP by this creature, you will be Beaten Up for 4 adventures, instead of the usual 3.
