Welcome to The Shore, Inc., the finest travel agency in the Kingdom of Loathing. Our vacations are sure to be just the thing for a weary soul in need of rest and relaxation. They last 3 Adventures, and are an absolute steal at 500 Meat.

• Distant Lands Dude Ranch Adventure
  • Gives Muscle substat or anticheese, coconut shells, stick of dynamite, ten-leaf clover or gingham blouse / rhinestone cowboy shirt

• Tropical Paradise Island Getaway
  • Gives Mysticality substat or ice-cold six-packs, little paper umbrellas, valuable trinkets, tropical orchids or coconut bikini top / floral print shirt

• Large Donkey Mountain Ski Resort
  • Gives Moxie substat or abominable snowcones, barbed-wire fence, cast, ent ciders, magical ice cubes or souvenir ski t-shirt

If you go to take any of the three trips once you have acquired some forged identification documents, you will be whisked away for a special, one time trip.

  • Taking 100 trips in one ascension allows you to buy the Little Boat Trophy.
  • Taking 1000 trips in one ascension allows you to buy the Big Boat Trophy
• One of few areas that can be adventured at with zero HP.
• Trying to take a trip when falling-down drunk gives the message:

"You're too drunk to go on vacation. Which makes sense, somehow. Trust me."

• Trying to take a trip while Half-Astral gives the message:

"What? Where? Huh?"

• Trying to take a trip with less than 500 Meat gives the message:

"You can't afford to go on a vacation."

• On average, you will receive (0.45 * mainstat) substats per stat-gaining trip, regardless of which location you are visiting. That is, if you are a moxie class and you shore for muscle, your muscle stat gain is based on your (unbuffed) moxie.
• On average, you will receive a stat-gaining trip approximately 70% of the time.
• If you have Torso Awaregness, you will receive a shirt trip approximately 2% of the time.
• Tower combat items will always drop if at least 30 turns have been expended since your last shore trip. Note this does not apply to the first shore trip of an ascension, and can be overridden by the Covert Operations adventure.
