The Raffle House

The Raffle House is located on the Right Side of the Tracks. It was constructed on the former site of the LAAAAME Observatory. Players can purchase a raffle ticket for 1,000 meat. Drawings are held daily.

Greetings, Adventurer, and welcome to our Raffle House, which is completely and totally legitimate and fully-licensed by the Council of Loathing.
Here's how it works: you buy some raffle tickets, and every day we'll draw one to see who wins our Fabulous Prize, which will be delivered to you in one of our special packages. Tickets are non-transferrable, but we will accept tickets from Hagnk's if you should ascend before the drawing.
All proceeds will be donated to an unspecified but very worthy charity of our choosing. So, how many tickets do you want? |

The first prize in each day's raffle is a piece of equipment, made from Grimacite.
First Prizes, post NS13
First prizes after NS13 are made of depleted Grimacite instead.
Second Prizes
The second prize is a consumable item made from Grimacite.
Notes
- Prizes are delivered in a raffle prize box, so that those in in Hardcore or Ronin may receive their prizes without gaining a significant advantage over other players.
- Raffle tickets can be purchased using funds from Hagnk's Ancestral Mini-Storage.
- When you enter anything other than a positive number as the amount of tickets to buy, you get the response
- Buying less than one ticket is... unwise.
History
- The Raffle House opened on June 13, 2006.
- New first prizes appeared on June 25, 2007, with the advent of NS13.
- Starting January 9th, 2008, special first and second prizes were listed to be given away, due to a large confiscation of items from disabled accounts, related to the exploitation of two infinite meat bugs. The following was appended to the store text:
- We have recently acquired a large number of rare and valuable items as a result of an unfortunate accident which befell some wealthy citizens of Loathing. This could be your big chance, Adventurer, to own a piece of history.
