The Carriageman

The Carriageman is a man who has a carriage, who knows how to use it, and who normally isn't afraid to use it to transport Adventurers around. However, he is ostensibly traumatised, presumably by living in a place like Dreadsylvania, and therefore spends all his time drinking at The Terrified Eagle Inn. Or he would, if he had anything to drink. He doesn't, though, so in order to avail yourselves of his carriagemanning services, you will need to help him get drunk enough to overcome his fears. Each drink you give him grants as many sheets as it would, on average, give adventures to an Adventurer. He will need one thousand sheets to drive to the village, and another thousand to reach the castle.

  • When unlocking the Castle:

The Carriageman gladly accepts your booze. After gulping it down, he looks N sheets to the wind.

"-hic- I'm not..." he slurs. "I'm not a racist, but I'm not... -hic- afraid of that -hic- castle."

  • Trying to overdrink him:

(That'd be a waste -- X of those will do the trick.)
