- You have collected <N> <items> so far, Bounty Hunter. Keep up the good work!
- Can't hack it, eh? Well, that's okay. I'm sure some other Bounty Hunter will step up. Maybe you should try something more appropriate to your Bounty Hunting skills.

- Excellent work, Bounty Hunter! In exchange for these <items>, I'll give you one filthy lucre!
- After completing a bounty:
- Since you've already turned in a Bounty today, I can't assign you a new one. Get some rest -- you've earned it!

Choosing Bounties
Average number of adventures to complete the bounties, normally, and with either +10% or -10% Combat Frequency modifiers

Notes
- The Oh No, Hobo adventure in the Haunted Pantry actually enables the collection of hobo gristle outside of its regular zone.
- If you fight the monster you currently have a bounty on, the bounty item will always drop. It can never be pickpocketed -- you must win each fight.
- Once you collect the right quantity of the item you have a bounty on, the item will stop dropping if you encounter the correct monster again.
- Each bounty is designed to take roughly 40 adventures to complete. The amounts needed are simply 40 adventures divided by the normal encounter rate of the relevant monster(s) in that zone.
- Because of the preceding three notes, item drop rate increasers have no effect on the rate at which you complete the bounty, but in zones with non-combats, combat ratio increasers give you a better chance of collecting all items in less than 40 adventures. (Except when collecting burned-out arcanodiodes on the Penultimate Fantasy Airship, where it is actually more efficient to increase Non-combat ratios, since the Random Lack of an Encounter gives you an option to fight a random monster, which is always the MagiMechTech MechaMech if enough +ML is used. There are also a couple of other scenarios like this, where a non-combat adventure gives the bounty-specific monster)
- In a similar vein, you can prevent the non-bounty monsters from appearing for several Adventures by using Harold's bell, divine champagne popper or the Creepy Grin ability of the V for Vivala mask. This works best in zones with few monster types. However, Harold's bell is a one-time drop that is consumed upon use and the V for Vivala Mask cannot be equipped in Hardcore, and thus this strategy is of limited use.
- On the Trail, from using the Bounty Hunter's odor extractor in combat, increases the chance of encountering the monster on which it is used. However, this is somewhat counter-productive, as it entails spending a filthy lucre.
- If you do not complete the bounty you're working on before rollover, you will still have the same bounty selected for the next day. You have the opportunity to continue with that one or give it up to select one of the new day's bounties.
- If you give up on a bounty, all items that you have collected towards that bounty so far are immediately removed from your inventory. You can select another bounty quest for that day.
- It is possible to complete two of the Bounty Hunter's quests in one day, though only by ascending.
- If you are of a Muscle sign, collecting the oily rags from the Degrassi Knoll is impossible. You may still agree to collect the bounty, but it will prevent you from getting any filthy lucre until you give up and pick a new bounty. Similarly, once the Mysterious Island Quest has started, you will be unable to collect the Frat, Hippy, or Pirate bounties. Finally, collecting the Clown bounty is impossible when doing a Bad Moon lead-in run, as ten-leaf clovers are required to acquire a big rock.
- While collecting a bounty, a helpful notification of your progress on the bounty hunt will appear. If you have Temporary Blindness, the helpful notification will still appear.
- There are various synergistic bonuses that can be helpful while collecting a bounty. Obviously, if you are doing a quest in the area a bounty is provided in, that's optimal: however, keep an eye out for those bonuses. Examples include adventuring in The Goatlet for glasses of goat's milk, adventuring in The Valley Beyond The Orc Chasm for 31337 scrolls for Hermit parts, and of course the Hole in the Sky for beneficial stat gains and the Star Garb.
