The Nearby Plains is one of the 7 main places to Adventure. It's located right in the middle of the kingdom.
Upon starting the game you have access to Cobb's Knob and the Degrassi Knoll. As soon as you level up a bit you get access to more adventuring locations.
The Plains is also home to some "secret" locations, that only appear if you have equipped the right Accessory.
The The Cake-Shaped Arena is also located in the Plains and is your number one stop for your familiar. On very (very) rare occasions The Spectral Pickle Factory appears here, but it doesn't happen often. No seriously, it's very rare!
