LAAAAME stands for the Loathing Association of Amateur Astronomers, Astrologers, and Meteorology Enthusiasts. The observatory was built on May 15, 2006, on the Right Side of the Tracks. There, players could look through the telescope for constellations, nebulae, Ronald and Grimace, and other heavenly bodies at the cost of one adventure per look.

Players with enough persistence at stargazing were rewarded with a Junior LAAAAME merit badge and delicious bricks of astronaut ice-cream. Those who were the first to discover a new object in the sky claimed a special prize.

On the evening of June 3, 2006, a comet struck Grimace, bounced off, then landed on the observatory, completely destroying it. Soon after, the Penguin Mafia cleared away the building's ruins to make way for their new Raffle House.
