buy some marshmallows in the Market, then head down to the bonfire in town (on the main Town screen) to hear some spooky stories! here are a few.

So does Yuletide occur once a year? I'll delete my question after I get an answer. --Lemon-claw 17:07, 25 January 2008 (CST)

looks to be just these five adventures - have not yet discovered more. Text Removed --Mars the infomage 22:31, 24 January 2008 (CST)

  • Good work, but I removed the text because it was cluttering up the page (due to formatting) and is a duplicate of the individual adventure texts. --Itsatrap 01:37, 25 January 2008 (CST)

4 turns of Beaten Up from this --Mars the infomage 22:40, 24 January 2008 (CST)

  • Confirmed. --Itsatrap 02:16, 25 January 2008 (CST)

the spooky form, she does nothing! (spooky damage reduced to 1, otherwise no effect) --Mars the infomage 22:43, 24 January 2008 (CST)

For the damage itself..37, 41, 43, 43, 49, 37, 39. MP: 89, 81, 87, 76, 92, 82, 87. Max 529 and 450 respectively. Qaianna 22:50, 24 January 2008 (CST)

Not accessible while drunk, in case you were wondering. --Pastian 08:33, 25 January 2008 (CST)

Scale with level?

Do the HP loss and MP gain scale with level? --Itsatrap 01:37, 25 January 2008 (CST)

  • Anecdotally, looking at posted results from people of various levels, I'm guessing this scales with level. Would this adventure really 1-shot a low-level character? --Itsatrap 02:12, 25 January 2008 (CST)

I do think the HP & MP scale to your level: L57 TT musc 3475 (3157) myst 2155 (1409) HP/MP max: 5309/3495 HP loss: 147 155 154 143 163 119 121 136 147 160 163 145 127 170 166 138 162 124 162 140 MP gain: 234 266 293 287 323 219 268 284 218 175 218 204 177 282 184 258 336 225 206 175 --The sofa king 06:26, 25 January 2008 (CST)

with Modest spooky resist, the damage is approximately 2x your current level, so definitely scaling --Mars the infomage 11:11, 25 January 2008 (CST)

My current theory:

Theory: HP loss = (level*2)+random(level) ; MP gain = (level*3)+random(level*3)

Anyone have any data to condradict this? --Bigcalm 11:54, 25 January 2008 (CST)

Addendum: Elemental resistance does NOT appear to have an effect on reducing the damage (tried with black eyedrops). However, a phial of spookiness will reduce it to 1. --Bigcalm 12:07, 25 January 2008 (CST)

Addendum addendum: Damage Absorption/Damage Reduction doesn't appear to have any effect either ?!! Oh and formula is pretty much confirmed, I just need a couple of low-level data points before I update the wiki, /clan are working on it. --Bigcalm 12:45, 25 January 2008 (CST)

I have my data points and all fall within the range. I'm happy so I've amended all the adventure pages with the formula. Someone more used to editing this wiki check I haven't done anything outside the established standards!! --Bigcalm 13:16, 25 January 2008 (CST)

Any clover effect? I'm guessing no, but I haven't tried it. --Itsatrap 02:19, 25 January 2008 (CST)

  • No clover effect. --Sinic 06:59, 25 January 2008 (CST)

But equiping a lucky Crimbo tiki necklace is profitable. Yay free clovers. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 15:02, 25 January 2008 (CST)

Spooky Resistance?

It doesn't seem like having spooky resistance is affecting damage reduction. I didn't notice any difference in damage received. I was under the impression resistance is a percent reduction, is that right?--Xclockwatcher 19:50, 25 January 2008 (CST)

  • I went from meager spooky resistance (~66 spooky damage per adventure) to major spooky resistance(~35 spooky damage per adventure), and there was a significant damage decrease. Just thought I'd throw that out there.--Jimmy da Elf 22:10, 26 January 2008 (CST)

My bad, it,s buried in the 'scales with level' heading. Answer: Only a few usable items work.--Xclockwatcher 19:52, 25 January 2008 (CST)

Do we really know for sure that the suicide reference in question is definitely a reference to the one in Analyze That? The joke itself is not new, and certainly didn't originate there (a similar joke I heard as long ago as 1990 involved someone being stabbed in the back 47 times, which was described as "a household accident"). Unless Jick or someone else credited that as a source somewhere, I'd say the KoL description isn't really close enough to say that it definitively came from Analyze That (ie, reference should be removed). Douglas Hossenfeffer 20:49, 25 January 2008 (CST)

Is 'flaming logs' really a veiled reference to cigarettes as implied? I thought it more logical that it was a reference to yule logs themselves. --Sleet 21:31, 10 January 2009 (UTC)

Elemental Saucesphere

Anyone else get nearly 1500 adventures of Elemental Saucesphere at login today? --Tarnished tartan 04:57, 30 April 2008 (CDT)

I got a VERY minor bug today - every adventure said I got "muscularity" instead of "Mojo" points. I actually DID get mojo, as I was supposed to - just the label was wrong. over 300 adventures of this, though. Anyone else get this? --KhayPrower 14:22, 30 April 2008 (CDT)

  • That's not a bug. The name of the "MP" changes depending on what class type you are. I would guess you are either an SC or a TT. --Plater (t|c) 14:44, 30 April 2008 (CDT)

No More Spookyform

  • Spookyform no longer, repeat, no longer has an effect on the hit points lost, despite their being Spooky. Much suck.--Terry 23:19, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
