Talk:Tooth

From TheKolWiki

If I'm not completely mistaken, doesn't Terry Pratchett's Soul Music have a line like the one in the description in the scene where Cliff pays for the guitar with one of his teeth? --flatluigi 16:45, 1 December 2006 (CST)

  • Yeah, Cliff does indeed pay for the guitar with a tooth (at least in the animated version, which I saw the first couple of episodes of a couple of months back - havne't read the book itself in years).
    • This took freaking forever to find, but:

"'I'm not taking that,' said the old woman. 'It's been in a troll's mouth!' 'You eat eggs, don't you?' said Glod." From Terry Pratchett's Soul Music. --MrPaulie 21:33, 7 December 2006 (CST)

Also, I'm pretty damn sure that's not a Birdo reference, for oh, so many reasons. Among them the fact that the eggs Birdo spits are clearly not the kinds of eggs you eat. This is, I'm certain, a commentary on the disgusting origins of eggs. --Id the Mildly Confused 21:06, 7 December 2006 (CST)

Unless there are any objections, I'm going to delete the first two references, as there is no notable indication of that being a birdo reference, and the cloaca is not actually a part of, a form of, or at all related to, the mouth.--Munkel 20:56, 20 March 2007 (CDT)

  • go right ahead, gets my vote. --Evilkolbot 03:06, 21 March 2007 (CDT)

You spend a few minutes digging through the piles of junk, and finally find some stuff that is both useful and intact. Well, intact, at the very least. You acquire an item: skewer You acquire an item: yak skin You acquire an item: tooth

As you climb back out the hole you fell down, you dislodge an immense pile of the fresher, wetter garbage on the surface. It falls into the junk-filled chamber, completely filling it up. Oh well. At least it smells slightly better up here now. --Veistran 21:07, 22 June 2008 (CDT)
