Wok of the Ages Recipie Icon

I vote that we use the chow mein picture for those recipe templates for Wok of the Ages cooking actions. --'Ivan 08:47, 14 June 2006 (CDT)

  • Might the MSG icon be more appropriate? --Quietust 10:52, 14 June 2006 (CDT)
    • I dunno, i've starting using a miniwok Wok sm.gif (temporarily?). Man the wiki n00bs are all coming out for this stuff, these new pages are as messy and unstandard as hell. And I have no idea what info is accurate, I don't have enough multis to check :-P --JRSiebz (|§|) 22:57, 14 June 2006 (CDT)
      • Gotta verify that the lo meins use up MSG. I wasn't checking after the first five or so batches, but the lo mein might not use any.

Wok of the Ages Accessibility

I think that the wok is only available when you are 1 of the myst classes. so if you have the necessary skill to access to wok but you are not a Pastamancer or Sauceror you don't have access to the wok.

  • I experienced the same thing for Nash Crosby's skill. I have both skill that are needed but I'm not an AT or DB.
    • I think thats common sense.-Carados 08:52, 14 June 2006 (CDT)

I have been thinking, maybe since ATs have access to all class stores at a certain level, if an AT of the right level has the proper skill, maybe they can access the Wok, too.--Stik guy 10:50, 14 June 2006 (CDT)

  • Jick and Co. said on a radio show that Accordian Theives can only access the stores of other guilds.--Terrabull 23:00, 14 June 2006 (CDT)
    • However, I believe (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here) that the comment in question predates the implementation of the Wok, Malus, and Still, therefore rendering it an unreliable source, as clarifying information about an unimplemented element of the game would be pointless. Basically, I'd say we can't be sure until it's tested. --Doctor hilarious 23:30, 14 June 2006 (CDT)
      • The statement did predate the implementation and release of the level 15 skills, but the design had already been worked out, so I'm sure that the information is dependable until you hear to the contrary. --Tirian 22:58, 17 June 2006 (CDT)
        • The comment predated the malus and the Wok, but not the still. It was the release of the still that prompted the question to be asked.--Terrabull 03:26, 28 July 2006 (CDT)

Takes an adventure?

Is it true that it takes a turn to upgrade the stir fry? If it is then I guess I'm moving to pastamancer and dropping the superhuman advanced booze crafting scene. :( --Exdeath 22:36, 14 June 2006 (CDT)

Does it use an adventure even when you have a Chef-in-the-Box? --JiK4eva 10:19, 5 May 2007 (CDT)

  • Yes. --Baltar 12:37, 5 May 2007 (CDT)

Wouldn't links to the two (I suppose there is a third which has not been found yet) wonton recipes belong on here, considering that the lasagnas are here too? (I'd do it myself but i'm not sure about the formating etc.) --Misanthrope 04:25, 3 July 2007 (CDT)

It seems to give a "BAM!" for each dish you make simultaneously. I have not tested this beyond 3 -- maybe you can have as many "BAM!"s as you want! This seems like it is worth mentioning, if you find that sort of thing funny. --Circaea 11:34, 7 July 2007 (CDT)

I tried 11 and got:

BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! You acquire 11 stanky hi meins (That's ridiculous. It's not even funny.)

I suppose you can get no more than 200 'BAM!'s as a hard limit, so allowing as many as you like up to that point is probably no big deal. --Circaea 21:09, 16 July 2007 (CDT)

I made 3 cold hi meins and in addition to the three BAM!s, the message said You acquire three hi,hi meins (too cold, too cold). I'll be making more cold hi meins tomorrow, so I'll try it again and see what happens.--Skrav 11:43, 12 May 2008 (CDT)
