Talk:The History of the Penguin Mafia

From TheKolWiki

Just a bit of historical nit picking here. The Church of Reset didn't require a vow of poverty; it just tended to induce that state. That is, if you actually tossed away money that way. And while the Old School movement did tend to enforce a vow of poverty, I believe that it was mainly embraced by people who already had a rich and sucessful main character who was by no means poor.

Name Dropping

Do we need to specify who the main contributors to the article were on this page and the Penguin Mafia page? It is rather nicely formatted, but unless much of this is actually material copied from an external source with permission, then this seems sort of like the namedropping that plagued the Games Rules page. Speaking of which, should that page be spelt Game Rules instead? I know the channel is /games but I can't help but cringe when I read "Games Rules". --Flargen 02:41, 2 November 2008 (UTC)

  • Yeah, let's not encourage people to start putting their e-private parts on display. As for Games Rules, I find I cringe a lot less if I pretend the page doesn't exist eyesclosedfingersinears. --BagatelleT/C 15:17, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
