Nethack or Rogue

Couldn't this also be a reference to Dungeons & Dragons not only Nethack. lvl5

As stated in Evilkolbot's last edit, the main dungeon in Nethack is named "The Dungeons of Doom". In addition, Rogue lacks nearly all of the things encountered here, such as spellbooks, shopkeepers, boulders, sinks (the dishwasher), as well as most of the monsters. So no, this is not a reference to Rogue any more than Nethack is descended from Rogue. --Quietust 15:59, 21 June 2006 (CDT)

Somebody changed it back again from NetHack to Rogue. Riff has said that Xenophobe played NetHack, not Rogue, and the reference is to NetHack. Full stop, end of discussion.

In fact, Panache's only edits have been changing "NetHack reference" to "Rogue reference", on this page and on the Amulet of Yendor page.--Jubbers 02:42, 15 October 2006 (CDT)
