Talk:The Defiled Nook

From TheKolWiki

That's weird... 5 minutes ago I did a 62 damage stream of sauce on the giant skeelton (no other attack made) and didn't kill him... and now I just killed him with a 60 damage shot. So the monsters have variable HP?? Groli 10:52, 30 November 2006 (CST)

  • This was observed quite a while ago, shortly after the Icy Peak revamp - monster stats now vary by a small range, making it more difficult to adjust your stats to be 'exactly optimum'. --Quietust (t|c) 10:54, 30 November 2006 (CST)

I think I just discovered a new Noncombat in the Defiled Nook ... title is "Skull, Skull, Skull" and text is:

In a dusty corner of the Defiled Nook, you find three smaller nooks in the wall, each containing a skull.
Never one to pass up an opportunity to disturb some remains, you prepare to hop into action.
 Check behind the first one
 Look inside the second one
See what's under the third one
 Leave the skulls alone

I note someone else already uploaded the image, "3skulls.gif" ...

Further, takign the first choice gives:

As you reach for the first skull to move it out of the way, it says "Hey! Watch it!"
"Wow, you can talk?" you reply.
 "Hell yeah, I can talk!"
And boy, can it! You spend the next fifteen minutes listening to the filthiest jokes you've ever heard. You manage to memorize a couple of them for later use.
 You gain 60 Smarm.
 You gain a Moxie point!

Note, I'm currently level 9, with a raw Moxie of 54 (before the point gained just now). --Bork 05:55, 25 June 2007 (CDT)

giant skeelton

Can someone check on the hit points on this thing? I just defeated it, and it had well over 100 hit points. I'm at level 7 without any monster-scaling effects.--GeeDee 12:22, 1 July 2007 (CDT)
