HotStuff says "I believe the seed that determines what you get is based on class, path, and day-of-run. So it'll be different for every challenge path and class, but predictable once it's spaded for each combo."

So, it's spading time! --Greycat (talk) 13:43, 15 August 2014 (UTC)

Results by Path, Class and Day of Run

I think the most logical way to sort these is by Path first, then Class, then Day. HotStuff's comment may turn out to be incomplete, but there's only one way to be sure.

Equipment vs. Potion/prank item speculation

Think we can get rid of the potion and fun item? It seems clear that they're just randomly picked.
Probably should wait until we get some data points from other paths. --Greycat (talk) 13:06, 17 August 2014 (UTC)
My potion and prank item is different from the other Day 1 HR Pastamancer's, but not the equipment (We both got a cap gun). He might be hardcore instead of softcore, or a different level or something. I made it a point to include my level and softcore in my tag as well. --Chamou (talk) 14:02, 17 August 2014 (UTC)

Seed

I only checked a few of the overlapping values, but they all work with the formula ( Path number * 3 ) + ( Day count * 5 ) + ( Class number * 7 ) that the continental juice bar uses. For instance, days 3-5 Teetotaler TT matches days 1-3 Oxy Pasta. If someone else could confirm that any recorded path/class/day combinations match with counterparts according to this formula, it could make filling in some missing values here a lot easier. Otherwise, don't discount the possibility of a misreported result in the table. --timrem (talk) 08:20, 21 May 2015 (UTC)

I think you're right. Some of the oxy data looks suspect, though: DB days 7-9 and AT day 9 don't match up with other results, some of which I've verified in Mafia logs. Oxy AT d9 should match Picky S d1 and OCRS AT d2, Oxy DB d7-9 should match HR SC d3-5 and d8-9 should match OCRS SC d1-2. Everything else I've seen seems to fit. —Yendor (talk) 03:44, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
  • it's worth noting that once the king has been freed your path number is 0, rather than the id of the path you ascended with. This could well be to blame for incorrect results being posted for later daycounts. --Darkcodelagsniper (talk) 21:01, 16 November 2015 (UTC)
