• While someone confirmed the new bonus damage cap a while back, to my knowledge, no one has confirmed whether the Myst scaling factor/max were modified. --Bagatelle 19:47, 10 June 2008 (CDT)

• My recent and highly accidental spading suggests that the +spell damage cap is lower than 60 for non Myst classes. It is likely 50, possibly 40. Someone should confirm with lots of data. Commiebat 18:51, 27 August 2008 (CDT)

If your +spell damage equipment is enough to take the damage over the cap (which it wont, but theoretically), this message is displayed:

You summon a Cone of Whatever, dealing X damage to your opponent.
The cone surges with power, too much for you to control, and stuff
sort of goes everywhere.

At least, i think this is the reason for this message. I had a kickback cookbook, chopsticks and 2 baconstone pendants equipped, for +52. Monsieur 09:44, 26 June 2007 (CDT)
