Regarding the damage formula: I've tested this with normal hobos and cold hobos. It's not affected by your buffed stats, nor by Bonus Spell Damage. Note that the formula means that it one-hit kills hobos (expect hot and spooky hobos), and guarantees getting a pair of charred hobo boots from normal hobos, if the spell if cast at the start of the battle. The skills of other Hobopolis class outfits likely follow the same formula - it should be easy to confirm. --Pcentella 06:45, 20 July 2008 (CDT)

Okay so about the formula you have F*(H+C), F constant H remaining hp etc. I think there is something wrong here, if it were the remaining HP plus a constant also multiplied by a constant, the attack would be a one hit kill for everything doing over twice as much damage as the enemy has HP. If it does in fact do this, even for Hodgman then the formula could be good, but otherwise there is something wrong with it. --Abaddon1 8:27, 23 July 2008 (PDT)

No, the zone bosses have scaling damage reduction, so I'm guessing that this skill would do around 800-900 damage to Hodgman? No confirmation here though, just my rough guess.--Tortle faced 15:11, 26 July 2008 (CDT)

If as I assume that all of these spells use the same equation, I tested Zombo's Visage on Hodgman and dealt 3,000 to 8,000 damage with said skill. If we can assume that both skills use the same damage equation, then that's how much this should deal as well to him. Abaddon1 23:47, 27 July 2008 (CDT)

Used this today against Hodgman with Chester and Oscus still standing. I was wearing Scratch's gear, of course, using the staff of the deepest freeze and rope with some soap on it as well as Elron's Explosive Etude. I also had Hodgman's bowtie on, but since this isn't impacted by myst that shouldn't make a big difference. Using the skill though, I did 11319 damage the first round, 6935 the second round, 3968 the third round and then 1557 the fourth round.
