Note: Out of 1807 fights against spooky vampires using wooden stakes, every single one dropped a vampire heart. Hence I believe the drop rate is 100% with wooden stakes, 0% without.--Yiab 19:22, 3 May 2006 (CDT)

I do NOT agree with needing wooden stakes equiped to get a vampire cape. I got the vampire cape on Wednesday 15th November with a cerebral crossbow equiped, in combination with two lucky rabbit's feet and a 25-pound Baby Gravy Fairy. I think the drop rate on the vampire cape may have recently been increased. I've seen two in the past 3 ascensions, and suddenly there are hundreds in the mall selling for < 200 meat, whereas even a few weeks ago they sold for nearly 10K meat. --Wildfire393 17:39, 1 November 2007 (CDT)
