From some very, very rough, very small, spading in the basement:
Against a beast with 2590 eyes, It took 5 ~530 saucegeysers to defeat it.
Used a shrinking potion two combats later on a beast with 2,634 ears, and it took only 3 ~530 saucegeysers to defeat it.

Semi-Rare

Just tested it. It triggered on my semi-rare turn, so I think it can be said to be a semi-rare. Anyone else want to test?--MaskedLihc 06:54, 14 July 2007 (CDT)
I did it with a multi. Of course, I wasn't really counting, just noticed I have 18 as my lucky number for the day and pressed it a lot of times, and I got it. Sorry for not being a good spade. :( --MrAndersonMan 07:48, 14 July 2007 (CDT)

Just tried it on her second form. I was lucky enough not to get the item blocked, and it does indeed display the shrinking message. I was also able to defeat it before I ran out of rounds (which I was unable to do the last three times I tried today) so I assume the effect occurred too. --Flandamnat 22:38, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
Forms
Does using this have an effect on all forms of a monster which takes multiple adventures to defeat (e.g. NS, Ed the Undying), and are you able to use shrinking powder on such monsters in each adventure it takes/ form they use? Also, does this affect Monster Level in any way ("and angrier"), or is this some reference?--Walterwongc 03:59, 25 August 2007 (CDT)
Failure to use

Happened to me also- twice in one day! (May 12.)(Different characters who hit the end of the war on the same day.) It worked fine for me on April 29 and never failed me before. Has anyone had this work against this boss or is it an automatic failure now?--Entwhistle 21:51, 23 May 2008 (CDT)
I tried one against Oscus, but it failed. Didn't try more than once.
