Talk:Scrumptious reagent

From TheKolWiki

The new table says that an olive gives a potion of potency, and the potion of potency page says that it's from grapes (but still gives the wrath syrum as the end result...), but I just got it from an orange. Anyone else had that? Flickgc 05:12, 14 June 2006 (CDT)

That was me, I got it wrong. It's been fixed, I believe.

The new grape+reagent potion seems to affect combat initiative. The description inplies it, and I seem to be experiencing that effect. --Omegaseeker 06:40, 14 June 2006 (CDT)

Gr8ness seems to be off the menu. Just tried mixing up some gr8ps and reagents and got nada. I've bumped it down to the 'old potion' menu. --Mutcha 08:58, 14 June 2006 (CDT)

I just made some potions of temporary gr8ness with scrumdiddlyumptious solution + gr8ps, so I guess it does belong with the new potions too.--Stzein 12:44, 14 June 2006 (CDT)

I've changed Orange/Potion of Potency on the new potions table. Description implies ++ melee damage, but I haven't tested. It definitely doesn't affect stats anymore, however --Sven svensson 18:28, 14 June 2006 (CDT)

Is there a reason why all of the potions are listed on this page instead of on Advanced Saucecrafting instead (like they are for Advanced Cocktailcrafting and Superhuman Cocktailcrafting)? Also, why are the scrumdiddlyumptious solution potions listed in the same table as those made with normal reagents? --Quietust 19:11, 14 June 2006 (CDT)

  • It seems far more obvious to me that when I want to find out what I combine a Scrumptious Reagent with to get potions I type in "Scrumptious Reagent" And having to click another link is downright annoying. The Advanced Cocktailcrafting ability gives three different items, so combining them onto one page makes sense. On this page, it is just a major annoyance.--Terrabull 00:28, 1 August 2006 (CDT)

The description says that scrumptious reagents "can only be used by powerful Saucerors." However, I'm a level 10 Turtle Tamer and I was able to use one to make a Savory Staff. Perhaps you have to be a Sauceror to make food items out of a scrumptious reagent? --Gdunge 17:00, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

  • More likely the description was written prior to the implementation of Ascension and permed skills, not to mention the implementation of said staff. --BagatelleT/C 14:21, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
