Quest rewards

I have very strong evidence that part of the quest reward is an altered combat rate for the post-war sonofa beach. Like all other side-quests the post-war reward is (what Jick considers to be) better if the quest is completed in the opposing side's gear. In this case, it looks like the post-war combat frequency is higher if the quest was completed in Hippy gear, lower in Frat gear and even lower if the quest wasn't completed at all, making it respectively easier to farm big booms. I don't know how to phrase this at the rewards, so I'll leave it to someone more experienced. Also, I don't have sufficient spading to give numbers.--Ekeinos 05:02, 15 August 2007 (CDT)

Or "I second that." I've just done it, Ekeinos' assertion seems to be the case. (Which, at least in my reading, conflicts with this page's facts. I find the page difficult to understand after reading all the related pages as well.) The task is hard to do perfectly evenly for each side, but I did (and I will replicate w/in the month or try to.) I didn't spade drop numbers accurately after only one trial per each side b/c I was frankly surprised to read this here and not looking to replicate or change anything. This quest fits the scheme of the rest of the side quests; if done in opposing army gear, the rewards are higher. This is correctly phrased on the main pages for Quest 11, but I see no numbers. I will try to repeat this again within January '08 to spade out the numbers more accurately. It would be helpful if others who have done this quest several times would also spade the numbers for as much replication as possible. Thanks! Hallehoopma 03:59, 31 December 2007 (CST)

  • There was some speculation that finishing as a Hippy decreased combat frequency, but the spading seems to be unfinished. --Bagatelle 15:00, 31 December 2007 (CST)

Beer Bomb/Sake Bomb

Is one of the possible daily Frat rewards really beer/sake bombs? There only seems to be one edit (second one on this page) that says that--it's completely missing from the location page. Beer/sake bombs are available for purchase from the Frat house by default. Both days in my current Ascension, the keeper offered me tequila/molotov instead. --Bagatelle 10:55, 11 May 2008 (CDT)
