It looks like favorite food is determined by alphabetical order if there is a tie. Figured I'd throw out that little bit of spade info. I had tofu stir-fry and olive stir-fry at the same number, and tried to alter the order I ate them in to see if it might be last food ate before the tie, but no, seems to be alphabetical!--WhiskeyJack 10:37, 7 October 2007 (CDT)

errr....wait a sec, scratch that. Looks like it may have something to do with item #? I've noticed other ties on my food consumption list, and it seems they are all over the place as far as order goes. Looks like I can't be certain why that is so...--WhiskeyJack 10:40, 7 October 2007 (CDT)

  • unless you remember to sort them, records come off a relational database in "relational database" order, which means they're possibly in the order they were added to the table, possibly in unique key order, or just in some random nonsense order that the optimiser feels like at the time. not that i'm saying it's not worth trying to figure out if there is some order, it's just that afaik there probably isn't. --Evilkolbot 15:42, 7 October 2007 (CDT)
