Any idea what the range on the stat gains after combat are? --sl1me 21:26, 6 April 2006 (CDT)

Yeah, this page needs some major confirmation on what the ranges are for its HP/MP restoration, its attacks, and its stat gains - so, everything, and all in connection with its weight. I *know* the damage is wrong, because this just happened: "A bolt of lightning arcs out of Intellectual Property Thief and strikes your opponent for 51 damage." Granted, that was from a fifty-pound Doppelshifter, but it's still one hell of a lot more than 2-5. I'm going to put a "needs work" template on it.--Hogulus 10:10, 26 May 2006 (CDT)

I recently ascended with a raincloud. I edited the page with the stat gains I got. Also that for MP and HP restoration both in and out of battle it restored minimum of 1 and max of whatever poundage the familiar was. So 1-16 for 26lbs, and 1-35 for 35lbs. This was true as well for damage done in battle. I will ascend next with 5lb raincloud (sympathy) and record more data. --Tcjellis 04:44, 23 December 2006 (CST)

Does anyone know the chances of this thing acting and what the chances of the various effects are? Seems to me that that would be good information to include. Does it act every round? Based on weight? Straight % of the time?--Wildfire393 17:01, 22 April 2007 (CDT)

12,08,08,14,14,16,06,05,09,17,
02,05,08,02,06,09,06,10,18,15,

13,02.

Range: 1 to 19.

MP Restoration
05,04,11,11,14,16,07,02,18,19,
04,01,19,08,10,03,06,15,15,14,
10,17,03,11,08,14,08,01,08,05,
19,11,19,19,08,15,01,06,05,05,
16,06,11,15,13,16,10,17,19,03.

Range: 1 to 19.

HP, MP, and Attack all use the same formula, which seems to be {1 to (weight+3)}. The personal raincloud acts 60% of the time, and all actions are equally likely (the high occurrence of MP restoration can be explained through the RNG.)

Please note that this study does not give any information on how the deleveling (?) works (though it may use the same formula as the other three actions.) It also does not account for the end of level HP and MP restoration, but odds are they also use the same formula. Further testing may be needed.--GoldS 04:47, 3 June 2007 (CDT)

Now that I've been through about 25 end-of-combats, I can see that the ranges for HP and MP restoration are exactly the same.--GoldS 05:03, 3 June 2007 (CDT)

So, over approximately 100 turns, I had multiple instances of 2-3 substat gains, but none of 1. Tested with both a low and high weight Raincloud. --TechSmurf 01:53, 5 June 2008 (CDT)
