Talk:Hill of beans

From TheKolWiki

I'm incredulous that the expression "do[es]n't amount to a hill of beans" originated with Casablanca. Why assume it's a reference to the movie when the expression is in common use? --Relsqui 04:15, 13 August 2006 (CDT)

Maybe it came into common use because of Casablanca. It is considered one of the greatest movies of all time, after all... ~ 15:21, 4 September 2006 (EST)

Can't the name be a reference to Benny Hill? Zigota Lt 10:35, 2 October 2006 (CDT)

Does anyone else wonder if the note about there not being any franks, was foreshadowing the Crimbo2006 event...or just gave Jick the idea? --Plater 19:12, 5 December 2006 (CST)

Color

Does anyone else notice or think that it matters that the image is shaded much differently than... all other images? It's darker. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tamergrue (talkcontribs) on 10 August 2008
