Talk:Hide and Seek

From TheKolWiki

I created this page as I felt the main Arena page didn't explain a whole lot about how the results of Arena battles are calculated. Instead of filling up the Arena page with four huge charts, i figured this would be easier.

Some comments:

  • I'm using "unable to perform" instead of weak, as weak is needed for one of the categories. Unable to perform, as it suggests, means that they get no bonus. I tested the impotent familiars at weights as high as 55, and they never strayed out of the range of 28-32.
  • While spading out the mechanics required a fair amount of effort, the easy way to spade the remaining familiars is as follows: a familiar will have one of three possible ranges of 5 that overall by two values each (weight + 25 to weight +35, which dupes at 28, 29, 31, and 32). A value of weight+30 indicates average, 25-27 weak, 33-35 strong. Values of 28 or 29 and 31 or 32 indicate average.

Similar pages will be added shortly for the other events.--Foggy 12:32, 8 April 2008 (CDT)

  • If a weak familiar is at only 1 pound can the bonus to its weight be negative?--SomeStranger (t|c) 00:10, 9 April 2008 (CDT)

Yes. An impotent familiar is actually equal to a weak familiar at 3 pounds, and stronger than a weak familiar between 3 pounds.--Foggy 17:50, 9 April 2008 (CDT)
