what does rocking out mean? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Brion thenotgiant (talk • contribs)
→ It means "for one to play a stirring musical number with a swift tempo on a loud instrument with one's cock out." —Preceding unsigned comment added by Stevenskistg (talk • contribs)
- According to the forums, it means that you get a combat skill called "Rock out" if you have a musical instrument equipped. The type of instrument determines the effect. And apparently it has a limited number of uses per day. Oh, and please sign your posts.--Prestige 06:03, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
Okay, well I'm sure you all will want to spade this out, but I had a contact that had these sunglasses on and when he logged out it said "gogar has left the building"

This do anything interesting with the Ga-Ga Radio?--Terry 03:35, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
- Instruments I tested that do nothing:
Are there any other instruments anyone can think to test? --Prestige 11:24, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
Maybe try the other Hobopolis off-hand instruments? It's unlikely they'll work, but there's a sealskin drum and a spaghetti-box banjo.
Just curious about the "+25% chance to pickpocket". Does that mean that if there is a 1% chance of something being pickpocketed, that while wearing these it's now 26%? --James111222 10:18, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
- possibly, although it's more likely to be like item drops and multiplicative instead of additive. that is 1% + 25% = 1.25%. --Evilkolbot 20:48, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
- Even more likely is that it increases by 25% the numbers picked in step 1 of The Logic of Pickpocketing. So in the integral, one would just replace each p_i with 1.25p_i. Note that this increases the overall chance of pickpocketing something by less than 25% (except when there's only one possible item to begin with). For instance, with two items at 40% base drop rates, the chance of getting something would go from 64% to 75%.--Buttons 21:34, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
- It doesn't take 1% to 26%. Pickpocketing gremlins with the shades, I got gremlin juice only 4 times out of 93 tries. So it is a multplier of some kind. --Kpsmith67 16:41, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
