I did some basic spading here - it activates every time you're hit for 30-40 damage (my numbers: 38, 32, 39, 34, 31, 39, 36, 31, 37, 35, 38). Seems to do the same damage regardless of the monster or zone. No message when hit outside of the water. Stacks with other eel skin items. --Gunslinger 21:52, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
