  • Jick has a habit of doing that - which can pay off for anyone who's lucky enough to discover that he's screwed up and smart enough to capitalize on it before he fixes it. Same thing happened back on St. Sneaky Pete's Day XI, when he forgot to make the Tin stars and the Outrageous sombreros non-tradeable. I'm still kicking myself over not putting my dozen or so sombrero in the Mall. Basically, anyone who gets the item into the Mall before the fix gets to keep them there, until someone buys them, or they pull them out again. Which tends to drive prices on those items up and up and up as the number of them in the Mall goes down (forever). Hossenfeffer 20:10, 5 September 2007 (CDT)

Even though this item (the only duct tape ANYTHING being sold in KoL) is still in the mall in pgrmdave's store, I'm under the impression people can't buy it from him, due to it being untradeable. It still just gives me the basic message "You can't afford that item." but considering no one's bothered buying it for months, when it's the only duct tape equipment on the market.... yeah, seems odd. People can still purchase it from me, if they have the meat. Just like all the other untradable items that are being sold. I just haven't had anybody make me a good offer on it, or try to buy it from me outright.--Pgrmdave 20:15, 24 October 2007 (CDT)
