- I'd say the main difference is that it's grouped the same way Cooking discoveries are, and with that in mind, said updates would probably be best applied directly to the Cooking page rather than to this new page (which technically doesn't entirely fit because it doesn't include all foods). --Quietust (t|c) 23:30, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, I would end to agree. I think Cooking's also kind of sad, as it's a misnomer at best...it's really a listing of most food and not just cooking.--Toffile 23:38, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
- Hmm, so what's the consensus? This seems to me to be a very different page than cooking... it's like the difference between Familiars and Familiars by availability. I can delete the page if the mods deem it best, but it seems like it's fulfilling a very different function than the old cooking page. Anthem13 00:43, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

- No idea. I understand it takes an admin to do that kind of thing, more or less. Alternatives are copying the whole page and deleting this one, or making a redirect. I'd suggest asking an admin about it, personally. --Sparksol (t|c) 02:44, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
- I suggest you look at the upper right corner of your wiki window and think hard. And then look at "Move". Deleting is something you need an admin for, not a "name change"/move. Anyone can move, though it certainly shouldn't be done carelessly. There will be something left that will eventually need deleting, of course. When you believe a page should be deleted, you can post it on TheKolWiki:Pages for deletion. I'm not sure the page is warranted either way, but there you go. --Flargen 02:59, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
- The page has now been renamed to "Discoveries: Foods" - was this really the best name, considering that you don't actually discover foods but cooking recipes? Also, what about meatpaste, cocktailcrafting, and meatsmithing discoveries? --Quietust (t|c) 21:19, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, the Meat Pasting page has a similar list already, minus the pictures. Should the recipe lists be set up on the pages themselves, or separately like this one? Discoveries category?

There is a new category called Confections that didn't show up in the wiki pages, containing some items from the Miscellaneous category. I created the new category and moved the items I had, but since I don't have every single recipes there may be other items that go under "Confections" that I haven't discovered yet.
