Anything happen if you have a rotten brain or eat a candy brain while having this effect?--Andy00 07:15, 14 July 2007 (CDT)
No idea. Afaik, this is a bad moon only effect, and candy/rotten brains are in short supply. If I find anything, Ill post it. --Eugene 07:20, 14 July 2007 (CDT)
Seems to me it will increase Disembodied Brain drop in the ruins, will spade it when I get there --Idanyo 13:13, 29 July 2007 (CDT)
I just got it, spent 3 (or 4) turns with it in fernswarthy's ruins, and I got two brainsweeper combats, but the brain didn't drop (I had no +item stuff). The sample size is shitty, but I think it might tentatively increase a brainsweeper's likelihood of appearing. Any spaders, keep an eye out for that. --Colbear 02:18, 9 August 2007 (CDT)
I think that it increases the probability of encountering brainsweepers. Out of 7 combats I encountered 3 brainsweepers. You said that you got 2 brainsweepers out of 3 (or 4) turns. At a guess it increases the probability of encountering brainsweepers to 50%. Obviously much more spading is needed to get a good sample. --Bale 23:57, 9 August 2007 (CDT)
Brainsweeper on turn 1, none in the next 3 turns.--Toper 08:53, 1 September 2007 (CDT)
It seems to me that the negative side of this effect is heavily lowered combat initiative. As a seal clubber with ticking clock, I can't get initiative on anything in the cemetary.--CrimsonMirage 08:52, 13 August 2007 (CDT)
Another (very small) data point - I went to the Spooky Forest, hoping to get a fertilizer, and got 7 noncombats out of 9 turns. (None of them were fertilizer though. Dammit!) --Bokodasu 06:53, 15 August 2007 (CDT)
I ate two brains casseroles with this effect on. Nothing unusual happened. --Groli 17:53, 22 August 2007 (CDT)
Wild speculation time - effect has nothing to do with actual in-game brains, but drops your initiative and raises some other combat variable, maybe melee damage. --NoHassles 01:17, 27 August 2007 (CDT)
I just got this effect in the misspelled cemetary (pre-quest), then immediately encountered 3 smart skeletons in a row, each dropped a smart skull.
--Aseigler 08:29, 28 August 2007 (CDT)
I had a ghoul, a non-combat, a lihc and -then- a smart skeleton that dropped the skull. Probably hasn't to do with this. --Akatosh 11:11, 28 August 2007 (CDT)
I think it probably increases meat drops. I just got 49 meat from a ghuol, and that's with envy (-25%) and a box (+1%) as my meat modifiers. I seemed to be getting high meat from other monsters, too, but that one is completely out of the noted range. --Starwed 05:08, 5 September 2007 (CDT)
I'm also getting radically increased meatdrops. I got 400 and 500 meatdrops from pygmy headhunters who normally drop between 140 and 200. The only meat drop skill I have is Envy, which actually decreases meat drops. Its definitely this effect giving me increased meat drops.--Izchak 18:19, 7 September 2007 (CDT)
After 10 turns of this I'm seeing meat gains of around +100%, and of course I lost initiative every time. I did see two smart skeletons, however that isn't all that unlikely.--Dunsel 10:10, 10 September 2007 (CDT)
Trigger
Just noting what I've been noticing, I'm pretty sure I've never gotten this before getting a shovel to drop. I have, however, gotten it before getting the graverobbing adventure.--Joeisme 13:08, 14 October 2007 (CDT)
I have, though that could well be the trigger. Seems these adventures merely become superlikely after the trigger is met; before there is a chance of them happening.
Or, ya know, it could not be the trigger.--DaemonStryker 20:11, 16 November 2007 (CST)
