I think this page should be deleted. Despite the confusing nomenclature, combat damage (aka melee) bonuses have always been applied to ranged weapons and non-ranged (aka melee) weapons alike. It is true that in the description of Jackasses' ranged and non-ranged weapons are separately addressed -- but has there been any other indication from the game developers that combat damage bonuses will be computed separately? --DirkDiggler 23:16, 10 August 2006 (CDT)

- Although this article was restarted just a few weeks after being deleted I just now restored the talk page. Anyway, since Ranged Damage has now explicitly been specified by, well, the four items that are on this page, it's pretty safe to say that sometime in the future Melee Damage and Ranged Damage are going to be completely split. My guess is it'll happen at NS13. Still, given the current nature of Bonus Melee Damage it makes no sense to relist Jackasses' Symphony of Destruction here (and which was already discussed on it's talk page when this was originally deleted). Not that anyone even suggested relisting it, but still... --TheDotGamer 08:10, 6 March 2007 (CST)

Hobo Power items
Since Hobo Power = Bonus Ranged damage when Hodgman's harmonica is equipped, I've added the Hobo Power items to this page. I put them under variable, which may or may not be the right place for them. --Demarken 13:11, 19 June 2008 (CDT)
