Talk:Bats in the Belfry
From TheKolWiki
What happens with this quality when you talk to the guy at the Stately Pleasure Dome who you "can't speak Bat" with? Dangit, I need to write this stuff down.

I think that the comment:
"You wouldn't hit a figurative bat with figurative glasses, would you?"
Is a reference to something or other. I've heard that before, I just can't remember where...
I think it's a reference to Batman I, but in that it's the joker that says 'you wouldn't hit a guy w/ glasses...'
Can this possibly reduce combat damage taken? --MrAndersonMan 05:20, 4 June 2007 (CDT)
I remember a Bugs Bunny cartoon, he's vacationing in Transylvania, checks into a castle and ends up in a shapeshifting contest with the local vampire. Bugs turns into a baseball bat whereupon the vampire in bat form dons spectacles and asks, "You wouldn't hit a bat with glasses would you?"
The effect itself may reference a Dispatch song: Bats in the Belfry.
The first line of the effect, "You've got bats in your belfry" mirrors the first line of the song's chorus, which states: "I've got bats in the belfry..."--Loretta Mcfunk 17:00, 10 June 2007 (CDT)
- sorry, coincidence. -Evilkolbot 17:02, 10 June 2007 (CDT)
Do you think that this effect may be needed in some way or another to open The Haunted Belfry in SpookyRaven Manor?--Ironcheff 01:18, 11 June 2008 (CDT)
