I personaly think the part in the references about her having some characteristics of Cassandra as well as Sophitia is relevent, as the two characters are already incredibly similair in Soul Calibur...if it references Sophitia, it will almost always refference Cassandra as well.--Cowdude101 11:32, 23 April 2006 (CDT)

I think the odds of there being an intentional May reference are nearly zero. I doubt anyone at Asymmetric has even heard of Guilty Gear, let alone the May character. The game just isn't well-known outside of fighting game circles. --Carl 14:17, 23 April 2006 (CDT)

The phrase "shipped off to apprentice with a band of pirates" seems to me to be a reference to The Pirates of Penzance - that is the show's premise, after all.
