Talk:Anatomical Injuries

From TheKolWiki

I'll probably make the body parts a pretty, easier-to-read table after I think we have most of them. I'm just going to dump the alternate Nadsat set of body parts generated by the Clockwork Grapefruit here until I get more of them and then integrate it into a proper pretty new section. --JRSiebz 00:30, 31 Aug 2005 (Central Daylight Time)

Nadsat Lexicon
  • brooko (belly/stomach)
  • glazzies (eyes)
  • groody (breast(s)/chest)
  • gulliver (head)
  • gulliwuts (guts)
  • keehskas (guts)
  • litso (face)
  • luscious glory (hair)
  • mozg (brain)
  • noga (foot/leg)
  • pletcho (shoulder)
  • rooker (arm/hand)
  • rot (mouth)
  • sharries (buttocks)
  • shiyah (neck)
  • tally (waist)
  • yabzick (tongue) [yabvick is displayed in game, though yahzick is the correct word]
  • yarbles (testicles)
  • zoobies (teeth)

Is there reason to believe there are still body parts we haven't listed yet? This article hasn't had many updates in a while.

As far as a better name for this article, why not just "Body part"? That would seem the natural link from all the adventure descriptions that say "The whatsit smacks you in the <body part>". -- Old Ned 15:51, 12 December 2005 (Central Standard Time)

When fighting a Doughbat, I got the message "It adds some dill to its body and batters you about the head and neck". Should this be "..about the <ear> and <ear>", or is "head and neck" a new part in itself? Or is this a specific message unique to this monster? I'll try fighting more and see if I get different messages, but any other input would be appreciated! --Fleurione 10:34, 15 March 2006 (CST)

  • This isn't random. It always appears as "head and neck." I believe this is a Monty Python reference, but I can't remember where. --Killerrabbit 10:21, 4 July 2007 (CDT)

I just decided to just remove hermit notice; there's no need for it. --Jedibob5 10:23, 22 April 2006 (CDT)
