Talk:A Battlefield
From TheKolWiki
I request this page be moved to A Battlefield (Cola Wars) to disambiguate from The Battlefield (Mysterious Island)
Could some one add this adventure text to the Battlefield page under the eau d'tortue:
Capital!
You survey the Cola Wars Battlefield for signs of life (specifically, life that isn't going to try to kill you). Your finely-honed hunting senses pick out a glint of metal on the ground, which turns out to be a bottlecap. A bottlecap that a tiny turtle has co-opted as a replacement shell, in hermit crab-like fashion. It nips you when you pick it up, but not in an unfriendly way.
You acquire an item: bottlecap turtle --User:JakatkJakatk 09:24, 19 January 2007 (CST)
In a dyspepsi uniform, the adventures occur like this:
Knapsack - 1:30 (3.3%)
Soldier, footsoldier, catapult engineer - 1:1:1
So the result is about 32% for each of the fights and 3% for the knapsack.
What about Cloaca? Lord Sonny 01:04, 23 April 2006 (CDT)
Seems to be roughly the same with Cloaca. One thing I've noted that I don't see on the description is that each successful fight restores 3 MP as well.

- That's the side-effect of wearing the Cloaca-Cola Uniform, not an intrinsic result of the battle itself. --Hellion 15:47, 11 July 2006 (CDT)
Apropos this area being unavailable: I adventured this run on the battlefield as a Disco Bandit under the sign of the packrat. If you're quick, you can see my wearing the Dyspepsi Outfit. (I'm in HC.) --Theophrastus 09:14, 14 August 2006 (CDT)
Also, the monster levels seem off. I adventured here with 37 Moxie (wearing the Dyspepsi outfit) and could easily spice everything I encountered to death while barely getting hit. --acdr 12:45, 24 August 2006 (CDT)
You need 39 Moxie to avoid every attack, not 49.

Shouldn't it be changed to say that it's only available to people who have ascended, due to the August changes?
--Hunter tRG 11:22, 24 September 2006 (CDT)
Trick-or-treating in either uniform confirms that Dyspepsi ultimately wins the war. Any indication why? Does Jick prefer Pepsi? I only ask because it seems odd to have a winner specified at all. (However, this might explain the fact that Dyspepsi cans drop in the present and Cloaca-Cola doesn't (though White Citadel has the latter).) I'm just thinking aloud here. --BDD 23:33, 24 December 2006 (CST)
So I just ascended with a multi, got him up to level 4, and discover that the temporal rift isn't appearing in the Nearby Plains! Today is the day that Jick rolled out the new Guild quest where other parts of the Nearby Plains are now hidden, so is it a bug? Or has this rift permanently closed? --Merric 14:37, 24 Jan 2007 (EST)
Allegedly, the Counterclockwise Watch drops here when undisguised. Great, I just hit 6 today. Anyone find any more info?--DoctorWorm 01:42, 31 January 2007 (CST)
Why is this page in the Needs Confirm category? It doesn't have any tag explaining what needs confirmation, nor do I even see anything on it explicitly adding it to that category...--Salien 15:20, 5 April 2007 (CDT)
- Looks like it's info on the Temporal Bandit.--Toffile 15:48, 5 April 2007 (CDT)
Um... under refrences it still calls the adventure the time bandit, shouldn't it be changed to the temporal bandit? (i'm new at this and a bit afraid to do it myself)--CSDragon 10:22, 7 April 2007 (CDT)
i conquired my fear... it's done--CSDragon 19:35, 10 April 2007 (CDT)
New Cloaca-Cola
I'm guessing that the adventure for getting the six-pack is a semi-rare (see fortune cookie)... Anybody capable of testing this? I'm not. -Goffrie 13:08, 14 July 2007 (CDT)
