This is one of the discs that the cavehippies use in one of their primitive religious rituals. They all arrange themselves motionless on a field in the dead of night, and take turns throwing the heavy stone disc at each other until one of them dies from repeated hits. The grisly ritual supposedly ensures a bountiful harvest.
Modern hippies carry on the tradition with a lightweight plastic disc and, as usual, completely fail to get the point.
