Somewhat Higher and Mostly Dry
After wading through the nasty muck for a little while, you find a raised platform with a couple of notable features -- a deep, foreboding-looking tunnel leading into the deeper darkness of the sewer, and a big rusty valve wheel set into the opposite wall.
If you're scared of the dark, or you have some sort of weird rust or valve-wheel or rusty valve-wheel phobia, I guess you also have the option of heading back into the canal of sewage. I'm not here to judge.
You grunt as you turn the valve (not because it's hard to turn, just because you like grunting).
There's a gurgle (and a fresh blast of nasty stench, pshew), as the water level in the sewer lowers by a couple of inches.

You grunt as you turn the valve (not because it's hard to turn, just because you like grunting).
There's a gurgle, but the level of the water doesn't change -- looks like it's as low as it can get.
Occurs at A Maze of Sewer Tunnels
Notes
- You can turn the valve a maximum of 20 times.
- Choosing Turn the valve doesn't consume an Adventure when the water doesn't go lower.
- When the valve is turned, an announcement will be posted in the channel /hobopolis:
- Dungeon: <clanmate> has lowered the water level in the sewers.
