Sheer Comedy Gold

As you plant your sapling, you see a tree go walking past you. Which, you know, is slightly unusual. It has a face on its trunk, and it strides on legs that seem to root and uproot with each step.

"Wow," you say to a nearby pirate, "it's an Ent!"

"It en't what?" the pirate says, confused."

"No, no," you say, "a treeherd."

"And what business do it be of mine what a tree heard? I've no secrets from a tree!"

"No, look," you say, "it has a herd of trees."

"Of course I've heard of trees! What do ye take me for, a simpleton?" The pirate kicks you in the shin with his pegleg. "Quit wasting me time! I just want to know who be on first."

"Never mind," you say, and limp off.

You lose 3 hit points.

Occurs at The Arrrboretum on Arrrbor Day.
