The gods, as myth and legend would have it, spend all their time up in their mountaintop hidey-hole eating ambrosia and drinking nectar. Clearly, the people who write myths and legends missed the main meal of the gods and were only invited for the dessert course. I mean, the gods would be buzzing around like hummingbirds if all they ever ate and drank was pure sugar.
This sandwich, then, is two slices of the toast of the gods enfolding a thick slice of the olive loaf of the gods, and a thick wedge of the processed cheese food of the gods.
