pig-iron shinguards
The Pork Elves used ancient metallurgical techniques to combine the strength of steel, the brilliance of silver, and the fragrance of lard into one metal, which they named "pig-iron". They used this metal to make very strong armor that is nevertheless quite delicate-seeming. These shinguards in particular make it look like you've got fancy curlycued[sic] front gates for your legs.
