When Used
First use:

| You tear open the little foil packet and dump its contents into your hand. Hey, neat, the bait comes with a little metal container to keep it in, and a chain so you can wear it as a necklace.

- May 2008's item of the month from Mr. Store. Its in-store description:
- Turns into:

- Cannot be used in Hardcore. Attempting to do so gives the message "You can't equip your packet of mayfly bait while in Hardcore mode"; an odd message as the packet itself isn't equippable.
