Item drop bonuses are useful if you are farming for moderately rare items or maybe even softcore speed ascending.

Note: Hodgman's Regal Frippery allows the use of a skill to give +100% item drops, five times per day.

Equipping the rice bowl increases food drops by 20%, while not affecting other item drops.
Equipping the Panhandle panhandling hat increases food drops by 30%, while not affecting other item drops.
Equipping the 'WILL WORK FOR BOOZE' sign increases booze drops by 30%, while not affecting other item drops.
Equipping the pilgrim shield increases weapon drops by 50%, while not affecting other item drops.
Since the amount of item drop bonus from the Jekyllin hide belt varies with the moonlight (from 15% to 55%), there are times when equipping Mr. Accessory Jrs. or Grimacite gorgets in their place would be more advantageous.
As the V for Vivala mask can force item drops on critical hits, equipping this in a spare accessory slot could increase your chances. Note that this prevents your opponent from dropping the same item normally that combat.
Being underwater gives you an inherent penalty to item- and meat-drops
Equipping Hodgman's Regal Frippery allows use of the skill Summon hobo underling which can be used up to 5 times per day for various effects -- including random food and booze drops, combat damage and meat and item drop % increases.
Equipping the Rum barrel charrrm bracelet increases booze drops by 5%.
Equipping the Monstrous monocle increases item drops by 5%.
Equipping the Cyber-mattock increases item drops by 5% and meat drops by 10%.
