This is a sock monkey sewn together from parts of various other sock monkeys. The stitches are crude, rough, and hurried -- the guy who made it was obviously in a hurry to re-animate it. Or animate it, since sock monkeys aren't the most active things to begin with. Anyway, it's a cool toy, and holding it makes you feel even more moxious than usual.
