Louvre It or Leave It (Piet Mondrian)

You step off of the stairs and through a doorway, and find yourself... somewhere. Somewhere very strange. The gridded landscape is swarming with little red, yellow, and blue squares, whooshing around in seemingly random patterns. You watch for a while, puzzled, but aren't able to make any kind of sense out of it, so you return to the stairway. What do people see in this 'modern' stuff, anyway?

• This sub-adventure could reference any number of modern abstract artist Piet Mondrian's works. The description refers to Broadway Boogie-Woogie, and the image is reminiscent of his work Tableau I.
