Lo mein

From TheKolWiki

Lo Meins

Lo meins are a type of chow mein. Unlike chow and hi mein dishes, they can be cooked without using the The Wok of Ages. Each dish is made by combining a first-tier stir fry with dry noodles. All lo meins have a level 6 requirement.

References

  • "Lo Mein" refers to "Stir-fried wheat noodles" (simplified:捞面;traditional:撈麵/撈麪) in Chinese (pronounced lāo miàn in mandarin), as well as dishes that contain them. Lo mein is soft noodles, while its counterpart chow mein is crispy noodles.

History

  • Prior to February 25, 2008, lo mein dishes required The Wok of Ages, together with the requisite MSG, to cook.
