[edit] References
- The Lamz0r N00b is pictured wearing a draggin' ball hat, which is a play on the manga series Dragon Ball, in which "Super Saiyan" is the powerful legendary battle-state of Saiyans first achieved in Dragon Ball Z. The critical hit and fumble messages reference the incredibly overblown, drawn-out fight sequences in the anime version of the series. In addition, the blue ball of energy is reminiscent of the Kamehameha Wave, one of the trademark attacks.
- Blue balls are a symptom of sexual frustration.
- The "How u mine 4 fish" attack message is a reference to the webcomic VGCats (specifically this strip, where it is given as an example of stereotypical stupid newbie behavior in MMORPGs). It is also a specific reference to Runescape, in which fishing used the exact same interface as mining, probably leading to the above line.
